Can anyone help?
I'm wondering if anyone can help me out here?
Little bit of background for ya, I play in a duo, along to backing tracks, as you've probably guessed.
I have quite a few 'Guitar pro' files that I can't really use due to the actual sounds and mix of the tracks being not of a 'giggable' quality/level?
What I was wondering was if anyone out there could alter a couple to bring them up to a level where they could be used in a live situation (If at all they can be!) , without them sounding midi?
I don't know how I can repay you other than offer any of my own extensive BT collection which has been collected over the years, mostly from british magazines, and books.
If any one can offer a hand just PM me your addy and I'll get in touch.
Thanks for taking the time to read this.

You can actually do this yourself. Download synthfont, and use some soundfonts to alter the tracks you want. The quality will be as good as the quality of the mixing and soundfonts.

Thanks for the replies, not too sure at the moment as my old singing buddy is wanting to do a few gigs again, so it will be deffo rock orientated, but as to what songs, we aren't sure yet, if we do have some would it be possible do you think to get the sounds up to a useable level, (I.E. to be used at gigs)?

If you give me a list, I'll see if I can pop a bunch out for you to audition.

Sorry I'm a bit late getting back to ya, been a bit busy.
Might be easier for me to send you a couple of the tracks direct to you maybe, then I can accompany them with which parts I'm gonna play?
If you send me your addy I'll get in touch, and thanks again for taking the time out.

saul aka slash?
hey saul,
i have the same problem with some bt's not being gig-quality. i play a one man show and have a decent collection of bt's ive collected over the years as well as some creations.
i edit and alter some of the bt's, some are too difficult to "alter" and im learning to edit and re-create.
anyway, what tracks are you looking to edit/get? im mostly rock oriented so maybe i can help out. send me a list or email one of your "not-gigable" tracks that needs altering to gram@southbelize.com
