My Guitar Pro "burns" are skipping:(....help!

OK.......
I successfully creating a Guitar Pro file for the song "Evil Woman" (by E.L.O.). I'm using Guitar Pro 5, so I exported the file as a Guitar Pro 4 file som my converting program could use it. I then used MID Converter 4.2 and once completed used Roxio to burn a copy. THEN...... I discovered it now has a "glitch" thirty some-odd seconds into the track. Not a huge "glitch" but enough to break the flow of the track, if only breifly. I've listened to the original file through Guitar Pro and the "glitch" is undetectable. What gives......????? Any advice would be wonderful. I'm just starting to learn about the creation of BTs, but if I can't burn 'em then what's the point????? Think I'll take up crossword puzzles

Thanks for the time and advice

Maybe the exporting from GP5 to GP4 would do it. It would make sense that the earlier program wouldn't be able to read some of the things on the newer one. But even so, I was sure you could export the tabs to midi straight through GP. I don't have GP5, I have GP4, and it is as simple as going to File > Export > Midi...
