using backing tracks

hey all, i got a question...
the backing tracks for download here are in mp3 format, some of that are about a minute or two in length. I use windows media player on repeat to play them, but the gap is starting to piss me off. is there a way to play them without the gap. do i have to edit the file and turn it into a loop. If i have to make it into a loop what program will i need to do what i want to do.

this forum is pretty cool, lot of info here that i can use, but i cant find the answer to my question, so any help is greatly appreciated
thanks
