Hmm that thing you told me, about playing the harmonics. I knew that you hit the natural harmonics and use the
whammy bar, but this has that laser gun sound to it... Do you bend the whammy bar down, then hit the harmonic and then bend it up?
I'm finally getting close to being able to shred: I can play fast but my picking hand is always a fraction of a second late so it sounds sloppy, I need to keep practicing slow, but I think I should be able to play clean in about a year or so, which is really exciting!
And nice playing by the way!
Edit: Ok, I think I figured out the whammy bar thing, but it just doesn't sound the same without that guitar. And by the way, I tweaked the vintage whammy on my Kramer a bit to be able to bend up 2 steps and do huge divebombs

, and I can do all the 'cricket' sounds and stuff like that, only it doesn't sound quite as good as it does with an actual
Floyd Rose or something. Oh well, until I get a better guitar I'll be happy with this.
