ksdb's Prairie Fire acoustic video experiment

This is an acoustic piece that I came up with in alternate tuning: kind of a Dm minor thing. The music is somewhat inspired by the annual burning of the prairie in the Midwest United States. This helps clear old growth for new grasses to come in, which is ideal for grazing. The American Indians used to do this and it is still practiced today. I found some video online that I "borrowed" and then used a trial version of video editing software to cut it up. Unfortunately it has a video tag on it, since it's not registered (cheap ol' me), but I wanted to see if the basic idea works or not.

Very sweet sounding, I'm a sucker for harmonics! Fits very well with the subject, although I think this would fit many other solemn themes. Great work!

Hey thanks for checking it out. I'm in the process of making a new version of this video. I've gone out and shot some footage and need to go edit all the bits and pieces. There will be more footage of actual prairie fires. The next version will be registered and won't have the disclaimer. As the title pointed out, this was an experiment. Thanks again!!
