VIDEO: Jimmerwoo riding a Seahorse!?!
Ok...still not a great recording, as you've come to expect from me...Hell...still not the best guitar skills either...haha! This is the first time I videoed myself and now I know I look at my fingers way too much
This is a little video jam of me covering John Squire's (previously of Stone Roses) Band, The Seahorses. You never hear many people talking about him on G101 but I think he's good...not that you can tell from my effort. This song is called 1999 and is on the "Do It Yourself" Album from 1997.
1999 The Seahorses (By Jimmerwoo - Take 2)
edited with an improved (but louder) version at 22:00 4 Dec 05

I re-recorded it and made a tidier, but louder version.

Great performance on the guitar skills... although I think you have to improve on the coolness level! and maybe look like this rather than this

Thanks Bramar, I was a bit nervous as I only learnt the song that day, was my first time on webcam and look a little stiff...besides my studio is freezing and I needed that fleece!
I'm gonna try and re-record it at the weekend using WIndows MovieMaker and get a better sounding result. And By the way...Welcome to the site!

I'm a big fan of Mr Squire...especially in his Seahorse days where I think he was criminally underated prolly because of how cool the perception of his previous band was and how uncool it seemed by the same people. He reminds me a bit of my hero Bill Nelson in how he puts his solo's together.
This was good stuff...levels obviously flying high!!! But I can hear the tone and the playing and it's all good mate.

Thanks Mr Wah Sir! Your solos sometimes remind me of Squire - Yep, Yes and YEAH the levels suck. But I'm learning! Thanks for watching!
