Well, I knew J-Mart's would be good because he's a freak! ...in the nicest possible sense! But I thought you did a hellishly good job as well Eric. The lead lines on the first part where you're wanging the trem sounds closer to the original and you also do the same as me and play the octaved notes on the runs. Having said that, Jeremy's sound and playing was top as usual so it's a toughie! So I wasn't gonna tell ya's but as I'm the first to voote, it kinda gives the game away! J edged it for me but sterling effort from the Webmaster...I'll get my coat Eric!

Hey nice work! Your sounds in tune. For some reason mine sounds out of tune to me. I played it though, and I thought I had the tuning, but maybe I didn't. Good work and good luck my friend.

Thanks! It sounded perfectly tuned to me dude, and as always your tone is perfect also, no matching that with my podxt at least that I have found yet.

The break down part sounds weird to me. Did you hear it Wah? Just sounds off for some reason, but I didn't hear in yours.
Check out my new eruption. Found a plate reverb in the Adobe audition, so I recorded it bone dry and added the plate later. Sounds killer. I just updated it, so you may have not heard it. Eruption battle is where its at.

Couldn't hear any tuning really out Jeremy... Heard your 'Eruption'....great! Wanted to battle against ya myself but it'll keep. I've had my guitar parts taken offa the version of 'Atomic Punk' I did with Unchained so I'm gonna re-do that properly if you fancy something similar soon?

Yeah, it's the Unchained demo with Geordie doing the vocals. Pod God took the lead off same way as you would on the VH stuff as we recorded it the same way with the guitar panned hard left.

They both sound awesome....very well played.

In J-marts version (who is an absolute perfectionist freak of nature on the old VH stuff) the harmonics during the part where Dave sings "gotta bleed baby" sound a SLIGHT bit higher from the original for some strange reason.

In Eric's version I think that the phaser is just a bit too wet causing it to go in and out of tune (which is what a phaser does), but mixing in a bit more dry holds the line better.

I'll obstane from voting on this one...they are both great. However anyone with the kahonaas that challenges J-Mart to a VH duel can pretty much start digging before they even get started. I don't think Ed himself could take him on and win.
