Tough call, but ended up going with flair, but it was tough.

wow... both of you played awsesome!! Hell of a battle!
Flair- killer tone there, really liked it! great playing very expressive.
eamon- great tone, I loved your phrasing. Great playing
Very tough to decide but I guess I have to (that is what this is all about). Both of you guys are excellent guitarists. I went with eamon but this was a very close battle. heres hoping this one does not last as long as the last one

One of the dangerous about a final like this is that you expect both players to be great simply because it is a final. Sometimes that doesn't always happen, but in this case it was definitely true.
You guys both have bitchin' tone, and very comfortable phrasing - two very top-notch players.
If I had to decide on talent period, I would not be able to make a call on this one. I'm going to go with flair's entry, the reason being that I heard more focus on the bends and vibrato, especially a couple of really tasty ones there at the beginning of the track.
Great stuff on both sides, though - I see this one going down to the wire, IMO.

So when we say this is a final, does that mean only until the next guy comes along, or the onth or what? Excellent playing from both

Excellent playing to both of you. It was a very hard decision but I think a slight edge goes to Eamon. You both did so well that in another battle it could go either way. Kind of like Leonard and Hearns.
