Flair: good chops there my friend, great work. Honestly i didnt like the mix of the guitar. If it was mic ed be carefull with the reverb on the signal, it kills the song sound.
Yak: that was killer, great bunch of shread all over and i liked youre composition as well.
Gotta go with Yak here. Good work guys

Flair:
Nice trillage.
Pretty cool song in all respects except for the production, things got pretty blurry in there now and then, sounds like some clipping too. Lol, you didn't press the normalize button did you ?
Dude, is there anyway you can tab out the harmonies at 2:50, that was freakin awesome best part of the song! Nice resolution into "happier" material after that.
I also dig that that theme around 1:04 (there's one earlier and afterwards didn't write down the time though)

Yakamashi
Jesus man, do you find that your fingers ever start to smoke while your playing?
Cool tune man, I didn't care much for the tone of the rhythm but everything was sweet man. Busy, busy track.
Pure shred through and through!

Whoops! I think I just voted wrong.
I went Flair's way because I liked his melodic development more, however, I just noticed that this is a "shred challenge" in which case I should have probably clicked for Yakamashi for having the more "technical" of the two pieces.
Sorry!

Truth be known, i recorded that on my old software, and i may re-record it cause i liked some of the ideas, but didn't like te production on it. i will try to tab out some of the parts this week.
