Goport vs. Noah
Here is mine. I decided to go with a couple 12 bars of "blues". This is all I got...I tried to get something really cool but I just don't have the strength. My arms and fingers are killing me...I need to develop those right hand calouses. Took me two hours to get this
It didn't help that it took me a few tries to figure out the levels and such to make it sound 1/2 way decent.
I'm making excuses
Good luck.

Maybe eric fixed it so you can't vote if both tracks aren't available?
Yeah, please don't vote yet...Goport is in England I think so it could be a few hours before he gets up and posts his track.

Nice change to har some bass....I might be up for one of these bass challenges. Had to go with Porty as his defined what slap was about...keeping a beat going and making it funky. Noah, yours was ok but you gotta develop that timing. Once thats in, you're set.

Oh yeah. Takes me back to the days when bass war was free and I was losing lots of battles over there
Gonna vote goport here, for being a bit tighter, a bit more funky.
I hear ya about the hand strenght noah. Playing bass is hard work! But it'll come.

Goport, you can't post old Duran Duran demos that you downloaded off Limewire! This was supposed to be an original composition!
Just kidding....you have a great technique going on here.

I gotta give Goport the vote here, as his entry seemed like a bit more of a serious effort. Noah, yours sounds like a great start but just needs a bit of polishing/developing. Keep it up with the bass work though!....both of yas.

Yeah, I was working on muscle failure at the point I finally got a take that sounded half way decent. Bass is hard stuff man. It was all I could do to make my fingers move even This is my first try of recording with the new amp and such...

If I honestly think I did better in these I just don't vote...yours is better. I spent too much time trying to come up with something mind boggling and just wasted myself. I'm going to want a rematch
This one isn't letting me; it actually says, "You cannot vote in this poll." I think much has been worked on with the battle section. Could be some issues left is why some people can't vote, but it is just eric trying to make it work better I think.
Maybe I should have stuck with the 5 votes...I always like to go 10 because it seems that 5 I don't even get to see it before its done...usually.
