Anyhow, here's my idea.

An open contest to anyone that's interested.
I'll post a link to an approx. 1 minute sequence and anyone that's game can either cover it (keeping the backing the same, with their own instruments etc...) or mix it down and play over the top.

After everyone that wants in has submitted their version, it goes to a vote to be decided by all.
