alright..
heres a vocal original track that i actually posted in the originals section a while ago.
It is entitled "Crystal Clear"
i had alot of guitar layering, with acoustic and clean electrics all combined together sort of in one big mess haha. anyway, it kind of has a bit of an alternative feel but with more of a pop/rock chorus.
good luck and have fun kippy

Wow! Another great original song battle! You guys are obviously very talented composer, singer and guitar player. I really like both songs - the production is great for a home-made recording.
I have to give the edge to Andrew because of the overall versatility and style.
Both songs are a keeper. IMHO, both of you are winners. Good luck and thanks for sharing!

That is the second or third time I've listened to Andrew's song. Awesome song! I swear it would make a good soundtrack song for a medieval movie or something. It has a celtic/medieval feel to it. Very well composed.
Kippy, yours is equally as awesome. Your song relaxed me a lot. Very mellow song and I loved it. It is refreshing to hear some original scores for a change. Although I am a hard rocker at heart. I love all genres of music from classic rock, old 80's Duran Duran, Creed, 3 doors down and more progressive rock such as Queensryche and Dream Theatre... I also love classical.. my favorites being Mozart, Pachel Bell and Bach.
So, you guys have made it difficult for me to choose. I might have to flip a coin but for now, I'm gonna sleep on it hehe.
Great stuff, both of you and good luck!

The songs are so different, so you cannot compare them so much. I really like andrews song tho.... so If i have to choose, it seems so origional....
also being a vocalist my opinion may have been swayed some by his nice origional vocals, seem very 75/ lennon mix with something kinda moody blyes. not to mention his fingers do a great job as well..
I cannot complain about kippy's song at all it is great!!!
Thanks for a keeper andrew, I would like a cleaner mix tho... (..edit .. I listened on headphones, and I take this comment back!! mix is great!!..end edit) but I understand this is complicated, and you probably dont own a recording studio to mix in......
Andrew A (leaning torward A+)
kippy B+
Love for both

thanks for the nice comments. i havent had a chance to say anything about kippy's song yet so ill say it now.
great guitar tones and guitar melodies, especially in the intro. very catchy. nice chorus guitar tone as well. i like the 2 vocals harmonising in octaves as well. great lyrics, very sweet and catchy. who sang the female vocal? both voices work together very well. great guitar lead at the end as well. great job!

THanks everyone with the nice comments. I wrote the track and lyrics and played bass, guitars, and sang the male voice. The drums were made in Reason. The female singer is Tine from our duo band. Hopefully we will be a full band soon.
The song was recorded at my home thru a M-box in pro tools.
I use my fender lonestar guitar, which im very pleased with.
THanks for downloading the file, (44 views) Feel free to comment on it as well.
Just be honest I can take it
