I feel this is probably me best quality recording yet... I realize I have to crack that fernandes open and star ground that bugger, as she buzzes pretty well as you'll see at the beginning... but otherwise, I feel this is a good track...
Here is my version of Mega Man 2's Woodman Stage Soundtrack.
You should have told me you didnt have a backing for this one btw, cause I have one I made when I covered this one that you could have used instead of midi.

hey send it on over... i can still use it! good battle... yours sounded great!
Now that the battle's over Lazertronic, I must ask you. The harmonics... Sounded like you played same melody on both guitars, just a couple of steps higher on one of them.
Cause it's really 2 different melodies that meld together to bring out sweet harmonies.
Sounded like you played the same melody on both guitars. Not sure tho.
Anyway, thanks for the battle, I'll send the backing tomorrow. Would you like with or without rythm guitas btw?
Well... it wasn't quite the same lick... Pretty close, but had to change for sharps in the second track... they would have been off key then, and you know what happens there... it's all warbly and junk...
I think the reason I didn't get the harmonies, is that being recorded in 2 separate tracks... they didn't pick up the fundamental harmonics that would have been produced if they were played at the same time on the guitar.... I could most certainly be wrong... but you're right... something didn't click 100%.... If I was going to play them the same, but just at different roots on the fretboard, i would have just said to hell with it and used a harmonizer.. lol
I did however really like that Panned Delay I added after recording to the "interludes" of the track if you will. Sounded pretty close to the way it sounded in the game (minus the fact that it was a synth in the game).
