ive been so bored since gb went offline. cant believe it took me so long to find this place. although i have been pretty busy drinking & fighting with the (now ex) wife hehe. since there is no place for jazz, i guess its blues battles for me. this is 1 track 1 guitar and 15 beers. (the beers are optional for any listeners or challengers lol)

Great playing there, but the battles doesnt quite work that way here
First of all you gotta go to the battle challenges forum and issue a challenge, so you gotta decide who your opponent is before you put up the battle.
Then when you post in the battle forum you fill in your opponents name as well as your own and a poll will be created.

And if you wanna do jazz battles I dont think anyone's gonna stop you. Just find an opponent and put the battle in here, or in classic rock or whatever. I think it'll work just fine.

that would be great man. i dunno what im doing yet haha. but i certainly appreciate any tips you can give me on how to do things here. and yah drunken is the preffered state of mind for anyone i have to battle against. it levels the playing field lol. if theres anything i need to do on this end to make that happen just let me know. otherwise if you can just accept challenge or whatever, go head. as i said, i dunno what im doing here yet, but i'll learn. thanx

hey naifuzan, just went to forums and i still dont quite get it. do i just pick anyone out at random to battle against? i mean how do i know who even wants to post? anyway i saw a few familiar names there: 3 fingers & you for starters, so its nice to see that i am not the only gb refugee here, but this place is alot different ya know? is there a manual or something hehe. looking forward to your hungover version vs my drunk one. maybe some day we can do a sober battle. although that would not be right in the blues catagory

There's supposed to be a "how to" somewhere... But I didnt find it.

Anyway, the way it works is you gotta find an opponent yourself. So you and someone else has to agree to do a battle before you start the battle.
There's a forum for issuing challenges, so for instance you can make a post in there asking if anyone wants to do a jazz battle, or a blues battle, or a battle on any particular theme.
When you have an opponent you just start a new battle, and under "additional options" when you make your post you fill out your opponents user name. Then he replies to your post and attaches his song and you've got a battle.
