Woah ! Beautifully gentle version by you there, jimi ! Great vocals, and not a hint of overplay. Complimented the tune perfectly !
I certainly wouldn't want to be voting on this one !
Good luck dude.

Very tasty and smooth playing by you both on this one. But I think jimi was the smoothest player this time. He gets my vote.

Mondola-You're tone is gorgeous, is it single? Does she have a friend? Nice subtle vibrato in there. Tasty, melodic playing. Nice job!

Jimi-I have the most horrible ears for tone so don't take my word as gospel, but it sounded like some of your bends were a little flat. Other than that, the piece was pretty smooth, nice vocals too

I was noticing the same thing actually...otherwise it was super awesome though!
Great work guys! I would vote, but apparently I have "insufficient priviledges"...

although i liked the added vox of jimi's post i had to go with mondy on this one.. this is after all a guitar battle and not a vox battle.. and i feel mondy's tone and style fit the song perfectly..

Thanx guys ! I find it flattering to get votes, cuz I personally think jimi did a great job, and plus, you all know I'm my worst critic when it comes to my own stuff !
Neck and neck stuff, an exciting battle. Awesome stuff !

Excellent perception...would you believe that my spot on "under" bends occurred at the precise moment as i was experiencing some unexplained power surges thereby causing the backing track to "speed up" thusly making my bends appear to "slow down" and go flat...???...would you believe that...???...no...???...me either...!!!...hee hee...

Point well taken...after all it IS a guitar battle...and mondola can surely play guitar quite well...i thought by throwing in a vocal i would distract the listeners long enough so that they wouldn't notice that i only played a couple of bars of guitar throughout the whole song...pretty sneaky huh...???...er..um...this post is just between you and me right wiz...???...it's not...???...you mean 10,000 plus members can read this right now...???...oops...my bad...
