Hey thanks for my first battle. I put mine together in about the 5 minutes that no one was in the house. Not the greatest work of art but hey I had fun puttin it together. Good Luck.

I took I totally different approach to mine lol. Well I think you got this one in the bag . As you can probably tell I'm not a very good soloist.

Nice work Pod, sound excellent for 15 minutes, got my vote, Guitar Kid, hang in there, recording was a little low, but I could hear some nice licks. Keep hanging around here and it will all come together.

Well I got some more time to work on it and I wish I would have waited because I have an awesome take that is more of a metal style.

Hi GK... a few tips for ya

First I noticed that you play the notes strictly fingered one note after the other.

Try the following:

-Bend One note to the next higher note in the scale (same string of course)
-You can also release back to the note of attack
-Slide from note to note
-Hammer on an pull off to and from some notes
-Make use of Passing tones!

Practice these and use them sparingly (and in the right places) and you will really liven up your sound with some feeling.

Well re-did my solo just cus I was upset with my first one...and I like it better, I used some bends, pinhc harmonics, slides, and Hammer ons.

I deleted it since the battle was over...I still have the BT so I might give it another go.

I did put together a lil bluesy rock riff that I might use to challenge someone.
