Naifuzan vs Caress - Rock Jam Battle - Guitars101

So, I got a challenge the other day from "Caress". Hadn't heard anything from him and had no idea who he was so of course I was up for the challenge

After pm'ing back and forth a bit we decided on a backing track and also decided to do the battle in jam format. That is, we both play on the same track like in a jam, so there will only be one file to download.

00:09-00:50 Caress
00:51-01:34 Naifuzan
01:35-02:16 Caress
02:17-03:25 Naifuzan
03:26-04:38 Caress

I mixed myself a little bit to the right and caress a bit to the left.

I think that's about it. Killer playing caress, and good luck in the battle!

great job guys , went with naif here since his playing fit better into the context of the song altho i think caress had some really great chops.

Cool battle idea! Went with Naifuzan on this one, his playing really stood out in the track. Outstanding playing.

Caress, good attempt man but i felt your timing was a little off in places...

Awesome way to battle!!!!! It's great to hear both within the same track, gives a clearer picture o

f the contrasts!!! Gave this to my man Naif, Incredible tones, and just thought the style was better suited to the track. But nothing taken from you, caress!!!! awesome chops, thought the tone could have been a little less harsh, but thats just me....... Great battle!!!!!

i enjoyed this battle alot simply because you guys played over the same track back and forth - is a true battle more so to me ...i gave Naifuzan my vote i liked the tone and riffs a little better good job to both...

It was a great idea to do the battle in a jam format, not only does it give a clear picture of the difference in playing styles but it also eliminates the voting before both tunes are up issue.

....btw. does somebody wanna do a collab with me..i'm gonna cover some malmsteen stuff, sorry for the offtopic

solid as a rock from naif who gets my vote. caress string bending was kinda outta tune toi my ears throughout his bits and this detracted from what he did.

great idea to have back to back submissions in the one track. well done guys.
