Naifuzan vs Riff Addict - Hell Bent For Leather
Time for some Judas Priest in here!
This is a same song battle.
I didnt play my version note by note, but tried to capture the spirit of the original more than doing an exact copy.
Good Luck to Riff Addict.

Hey nice job man...does my heart good to hear someone besides me pay tribute to the Mighty Priest.
BTW, "The new Priest album ROCKS!!!!!!!!" It is a dual-disc with DVD on one side including band interview and live Reunion concert footage.

Kickass versions guys!!! Loved them both. A tough decision but I went with Riff on this one. The tone was killer!

Thanks, I tried hard to capture the feel and tone of the original even though I'm no Glenn Tipton by any means. It has that old Priest sound though.

Nice job to you both!
Both tunes were rockin.
It sounded to me like Riff Addict's was a bit more tight to my ears. It sounded also like RA used 2 rhythem guitars for that cool effect and original song nuance type feel.

I appreciate it ...yeah I always record 2 seperate rhythm tracks, with 2 different guitars / tones, especially in a 2 guitar band cover (very important) usually slightly panned left and right for each one. I also will dub any other guitar parts that I hear on an original. I never add anything that isn't there unless improvising some solo parts. It surprises me that I can play a solo at all even remotely close to the original since I've been strictly a rhythm player most of my life. Solos are a major challenge for me for sure but I'm getting a bit better all the time.

Hey! I did too!
My guitar sounds werent very close to the original album version tho. I just took two angry distorted tones and went for it
I improvised the solo as well, except for the tapping part, wich I based on the original, but altered a little bit.
But yeah, RA is much closer on this one. Well deserved win I think.
