Rythameen vs Chrisguitargod
Okay here it is, a one minute acoustic ragtime piece. Man I forgot how rusty my fingerpicking was. Anyway, here's mine, looking forward to chrisguitargod's entry

i recorded it with an akg c1000 close mic and di,ed at same time then mixed the signals. it lacks the depth of your acoustic tone though, i have a cheap crappy ovation guitar. i learned this peice from a fingerpicking book about 15 years ago, im proberbly gonna lose this one but it was fun to do.. your track rocks

wow..this was cool
Rythameen's sounded like a cross od Steve Howe and Jorma(do ya know him Hot Tuna) not played perfectly but authentically some really nice parts in there that i really liked
ChrisGG...played perfectly maybe too perfect.. awesome tone...excellent job and timing but the tune just didnt do it for me "personally"
so Rythameen takes it by a half a hair

I like your sound, I just used my MXL condenser mic. I going to pick up a preamp soon, right now I use my Tascam 122 for a preamp, but I have to keep the computer on, and it is really noisy. I might have to try adding in some of the piezo from the guitar, which by the way is a Samick, not real high quality. I also learned this from a book about 15 or so years ago. Have no idea where the book got off to. As far as losing............it aint over til the fat lady farts.

Thanks Axe........I love Jorma, I have been trying to learn Hesitation Blues for a long time.
