wahwah vs Goport
Ok, this is one that I did about 5 months ago that took a lot of work and I'm really pleased with. This is called 'Pacific Highway' and is written with the famous twin guitars of Thin Lizzy in mind and is basically a driving tune.
Good luck Porty...I know you'll bring something awesome to the dinner table.

This is where I get kicked into touch. lolol
I love that tune wahwah!! I was hoping you weren't going to post this though Anyway I did this a while back - I still like it a lot but I will be surprised if I even get a vote against your masterpiece.

Went with Go on this one.........loved both of them though, really tough decisions, so just went with how they made me feel, and Goports just struck that certain something inside me.

in time honoured Guitar Battle tradition I cast my vote to the opposition, Wahwah

hehe modphobia lol
can share your frustration at forum posts Chris (its the same on virtually all forums m8, not just g101 )
for me its lack of time, i frequent about 4/5 forums and dont always have the time to reply to everything but i do listen to most of the stuff everyone puts up on this forum cos otherwise i'd be missing out on that healthy dose of cool guitar
anyways, these 2 tracks are excellent, Goport this aint your usual tongue in cheek stuff, I'm impressed, knew you had more rock in ya
Chris, some excellent phrasing/notes as usual
you guys got that bar at a high level, hard to vote

I went with goport on this one .. just loved the sitar kinda sound in background and i absolutely loved what happened in the background when the melody came in . just that soft floating kinda vibe with the sitar still in there very faintly . absolute genious !
The angular kinda vibe you go for in some of your tracks like this one and that other one that i was fortunate enough to jam on .. i really like it !
I liked yours too wah with the dual guitars and melody .. it had a great vibe and some aweosme playing in there !

I didn't think my early lead would last against the Mighty Wah Thanks for the listens and replies everybody. It is nice to see a battle happen quickly Thanks stiglar mate - I think I am going to stick the backing up for that jam in the bt section.
