Anybody have any Leon Russell shows circa 1970-75? SORRY I MOVED THIS
Leon Russell was one of the greatest live performers I've ever seen (I say "was" because his shows these days are rather tepid affairs). I've never been able to find much live stuff on him from the primo period 1970 until he married Mary in '75 or '76, other than the 70 Fillmore show, the PBS Sessions broadcast with Don Nix & Furry Lewis and one or two other shows.
Does anybody have LIVE Leon Russell? With that killer band--John Gallie, Chuck Blackwell, Joey Cooper, etc? Even the time I saw him live backed by The Gap Band was unbelievable.
I'd LOVE to hear some if you got!
