Toni Iommi & Eddie Van Halen

Does anyone have any recordings of Tony Iommi with Eddie Van Halen, or Black Sabbath with Van Halen. All the shows they did together on the first tour. Wouldn't you think that there has to be some kind of Jamming together in some fashion? Special guest on stage together or Ozzy with Van Halen etc.

There has got to be something they did together Rite? Well if you have some how about hooking us up!

I don't think so. I've heard most of the shows VH did when they were opening for them and they never did anything with Black Sabbath (Or any of it's members). At the same time, I've never heard of Eddie playing with the band or jamming with any of them, so I doubt there is any audio of any of that stuff (If it even happened at all...)

lets not forget that the 2 bands didnt get along at all on that tour.
besides VH blowing Sabbath off the stage every night, there were a few blow outs between the bands back stage.
there was a story of ozzy busting into vh's dressing room while he was drunk(big suprise there) & screaming at vh about david flashing ozzys peace sign & accusing eddie of ripping off some licks from tony.

i dont think there was any jamming between the 2 bands.

Running With The Wizard

I remember hearing about them blowing Black Sabbath off the stage. Never knew Ozzy Ransacked the dressing room. Still they had some good times together too. I remember hearing that Richie Blackmore treated Eddie Van Halen like shit, when he went over to introduce himself. Those guys were scared of him, thought Eddie was the Anti Christ. All those guys had shit running down their leg when Eddie Van Halen plugged in a Guitar.

Does anybody have Van Halen doing a cover of Black Sabbath?

I'd even like some of the mix masters mix some Black Sabbath with Van Halen for some killer shit. Have you seen Juniors Eyes!

Ritchie Blackmore is a weird fucker. Once I was in the Rainbow on the Sunset Strip. One of my friends at the time asked Ritchie to do some blow, and Ritchie turned him down. He then browbeated all of us at the table. Weird it was like the guy thought I was an Eddie clone, cuz my hair was almost like Ed's at that time. This was back in 1981.
