JOURNEY with Jeff Scott Soto

Jeff Scott Soto has replaced Steve Augeri as Journey's lead singer effective with his first show Friday in Virginia. I would love to hear someone say that this is being recorded. Please post this (or any other show with JSS).

But it is. I can't wait to see them and the Leps at the end of August here in the Bay Area.A great band just got better. Without a doubt JSS is one the best singers in all of Rock music today. Did somebody say Steve Augeri? Steve Who? I'm hoping the boots will be coming in for this.

I just read one of the first concerts reviews of Bristow tonite. JSS dedicated this show to Steve A. and he ROCKED ! I do hope someone was able to record a boot of this show.

i too can't wait for this - pls post if u have something anyone - jeff scott soto rocks - and a career break he has long time deserved - but to the person who said steve who - i have met them both - and two more genuine guys you couldn't wish to meet and lets pray for a speedy recovery...

now to geth them both singing with journey together would be awsome?

Hey sorry, I wasn't trying to knock Steve Augeri. I give the guy all the credit in the world. First he had to fill some pretty big shoes in Steve Perry's,and I think he's done so, admirably. Second, to risk permanent damage by still trying to sing, takes alot of balls. I am just happy to see JSS finally get the shot that I think he's been waiting for for a long time. I think he took the first step when he hooked up with Neal in Soul Sirkus. I think it shows what kind of a person he is, by him dedicating the first show in Bristow to Steve. I think the overall winners in this long drawn out soap opera are without a doubt going to be Journey fans.

I've heard the shows are GREAT with Jeff - looked at my schedule and no way can I make a show anytime soon - it's a long way from UK - please anyone who has been to one of the concerts with Jeff and Journey - even 1 track would be kewl - pls?

Someone posted something on the message board on melodicrock.com that I thought was pretty spooky. Take the initials of Journey and Soul Sirkus and what do you get. JSS. Coincidence,probably,weird,definitely. Maybe it was meant to be after all,Jeff joining Journey.

To the original poster of this thread... I've upped an mp3 version of the show into the other bands boot section for you if you haven't found it anywhere else. Wish they were playing near me as it sounds like a kick ass show.
