I just saw the best Paul McCartney concert of my life ... possibly the best conert of Pauls'a life!

He did the grand re-opening of The Hard Rock Hotel's concert venue, the Joint. Awesome show. Does anyone have it? If so, please share it! If I find the material, I'll get it online myself.

The set ws incredible. "Helter Skelter" was just insane! And "Live and Let Die" had full pyro. Yes, in a 4,000 seat club. We couldn't see the band too well for a few minutes afterwards because of all the smoke!

I read the review of his show in the RJ this morning, and it must have been a smoking show. Too bad tickets were going for over $2,000.00. Hard to believe it sold out in just seven seconds!

I read that piece, too, but the report that tickets sold out in seven seconds is something that somebody must have made up. I got my general admission ticket about 20 minutes after they went on sale! Ticketmaster.Com crashed, but I got through on the phone without any problem. Floor ticket sold for $200 but were worth every penny. It was a small venue, a rare opportunity to see him up close.

Smoking show is right! He played his Hofner bass about half of the time, but also switched over to lead guitar on several songs. He also did a few on piano.

Some snippets have appeared on YouTube but the whole show has yet to surface. I'm hopeful!
