Stevie Ray Vaughan 8/28/87 (New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival/MTV Mardi Gras)

Having a hard time finding this. It's SRV's performance on 8/28/1987 during the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival that was broadcast by MTV. I don't think it was officially released, except for 1 or 2 songs as part of compilations. I at the very least would just like the audio from the performance of Superstition, but it'd be nice if more/all (meaning most as you can't give officially released material, which 1-2 of the songs have been like I said) of the show can be provided. After looking a bit more, I found out this bootleg goes by the name of "Rocking On The River". I did find it somewhere, but it's 128kbps mp3... :/ If someone has a higher quality version, it'd be greatly appreciated.

It would be great if you would post it here for those that do not have it. I have posted several "more rare" SRV shows in the hopes that others would do the same. It seems that there are certain people that have these shows and do not want to share them. As someone that met Stevie twice farily earlier in his career, this was totally UN-like Stevie. I really feel that those of us that have the shows SHOULD share them. I am not sure if I have this whole show. I know that pieces have been out there though. Please post if you have it. Also ANY other Stevie would be GREATLY welcomed. Thanks

Hm, I haven't uploaded anything to Rapidshare or Megaupload before, but I'm almost positive there's a 10 download limit for non premium users at RS. I deleted it from my HDD because the distortions due to compressing such a loud concert to 128 kbps were too much, but I'll grab it again and at least upload a temporary copy that somebody else can make a permanent upload of.

It apparently isn't the entire set from that show. It also claims to be a soundboard, but it's a little dirty, and I'm fairly sure there's a cleaner boot floating around. Not to mention it's in 128 kbps mp3. Still, the music's there, and if a better copy/version doesn't show up, then this'll have to do, so enjoy :P

I bought this DVD of the New Orleans Riverboat show. Enjoy it as much as I do.
