Yes!! It probably should be here with the rest of the great stuff!!!
A great version of the Willie Dixon classic performed superbly.
Led Zep built their first albums around Willie's compositions, so much so that they were taken to court for copyright infringement, (and paid him a generous settlement which in effect acknowledged his influence on their style).
So, Yes, I think it does belong here because without this kind of stuff as a springboard, Jimmy Page wouldnt have written at least 50% of those CLASSIC riffs on Zep I and II.....................
Here endeth the history lesson lol lol...........
Great stuff Badams, I'd love to hear more please!!

You definetly play a groovy harp!! Nice vocals too. The thing is on my system it only plays on the left channel? A really cool job though.

Actually they were taken to court on copyright infringement involving only one song off of Led Zeppelin II, "Whole Lotta Love", which bares resemblance to Dixon's "You Need Love". The lawsuit was made simply because Robert Plant didn't change the lyrics and Dixon's daughter had recognized the tune on the radio one day. If Robert had changed the lyrics, which he could have easily done, the song would have been completely unrecognizable. Everything else, including the famous guitar riff, were completely original. So why didn't Robert just change the lyrics? Simple...they were recording Led Zeppelin II on the road while still touring for Led Zeppelin I...an amazing feat that left him very little time to do it in

Raw is right ya'll. Sorta like an inflamed hemorroid. Dont know what to say besides you people are just too danged cool. A thought just occured to me.
If we could turn the fools who think they run this planet into musicians like yourselves then maybe they would also adopt a similar more kind way of thinking.Ultimately putting a stop to the cruelty, making sure everyone got fed
( its hard to wanna kill someone who just filled your childrens belly with food)
and figure out a way to stop destroying our own mother (Earth ). Well a person can always dream.
Thanks everyone
