Awe man, as a matter of fact I recently unburried my old Genesis records, and "Selling England by the pound" is by far my favourite one, I just canīt believe how beautiful and fresh it still sounds nowadays! AWESOME cover, and welcome to the site man! Now please go for "The battle of Epping Forest" please!

I'm with BP here, "Selling England" is my fave Genesis album too!!
You did an excellent job on this, having covered some Genesis songs myself I know how much work goes into producing a cover version of this particular band.
Was this a solo effort or did you have other musicians in on it? I'm curious because the synth solo's dont sound like they're being played off a midi track, they sound like they've been played live!!
Anyhow, thoroughly enjoyed this, god knows how you remembered all those chords lol lol.

You get points from me just for your userID. Big Genesis and Steve Hackett fan here. It's too bad their songs tend to be so long. Have you heard the Flower Kings version of this song it's cool, but not as faithful as your cover. Nice work on the guitars, vocals and overall production. This is a darned ambitious song to do on a four-tracker. You did a great job of reproducing the guitar tones.
