Completed Covers and Tributes only please

Guys.

This particular forum moves so fast, that I am asking for only completed covers or tributes to be posted here. Any requests for colab partners, etc., should be started in the "Jam Room" until the project is completed and ready to go. Then, absolutely post it here!!

Any instrumental version of the tunes are completely fine. What I am trying to encourage is to have a fast moving forum like this one to be kept solely for music, and not get bogged down in requests. Thanks guys!

Does this mean that we can't post incomplete, IE: works in progress to ask for opinions/help?

I would say SF, that if you are looking for a colab partner (a vocalist or another guitarist, etc), or doing a "tone test" or looking for comments about something you are not sure of, then the Jam Room is the place to be. This whole site is about opinions and asking for feedback and giving it. Should be no different here than in any other area of the site. You will get feedback and comments wherever you post. A guitar only version of a tune is fine. A partial cover is OK, but really to be fair to others who are working hard posting completed tunes here, I would definetly prefer the post to start in Jam Room. I just consider a tribute or a cover something completed. Would you want to honor..say...Van Halen by saying.."Look man..I can play 18 seconds of your solo in this tune.." Or go to see a band that plays only half completed songs? Just my thoughts man.

These guys posting here work hard on the tunes. They should have enough time to have their work listened to. Peace bro.
