hey man, there seems to be a problem with your link, it comes up as an error page, might wanna recheck your html.
it seems you suffer from the same disease i do...lack of attention by the forums members-itus. it seems that the core group of people have become so bigoted that they won't even give us the time of day, even if we have less time to spend living on the forum than they do. some of us are unable to connect and spend so much time in all of the different facets of the site and as a result are unable to recieve comments, listens, visits from them, even though they demand from you as a newbie to listen and comment on their posts.
i find this mindboggling that the once great guitars101.com forum i joined in 2004 has reduced itself to some high-minded hierarchy where the only respect you get is from kissing someone else's ass first.

Loved it man!! Great job on this as I have heard the original and am most impressed with the CD. Great Gilmour feel!!
Floyd Rock....to be honest...the site works when you check out other peoples stuff and then they will in turn listen to yours. It's a great site. Just jump in man. Become a participant. It's how anyone i can name on here has done it. Don't tell me you couldn't find more tunes to comment on since Oct 2004? Peace bro. Macman...really nice stuff!!

this sounds pretty good! i've always been a sucker for gilmour.
heaven knows that if i did this i'd slap it with a boatload of reverb and/or delay. haha
good tone, good feel, nice recording.
3-fingers, it really does make it hard to feel welcome on a board where when one posts relatively unknown...there isn't even slight curiosity to find out about the player, equipment, tone, song, feel, any of that. i made a post yesterday, in that time it received one comment from another forum member and then floated to the bottom of the page today untouched. how is that supposed to encourage people to keep at the site?
for the past year i've been at a disadvantage with personal issues that bear no importance to the members on the forum...and as a result i couldn't find more tunes to comment on. and as a result i lost any respect that i might have gained and further, was unable to build myself on the site. and i come back and there's just no response. its even a popular artist among the players here that i covered and still people have overlooked it.

Floyd...it's macman's post here and i do not want to take away from what he has done here. Please feel free to PM me with any comments or concerns. I can't control what people listen to or respond to, but a good start is to jump back in and comment after your absence. I want you to be a part of this place (as in contributing thoughts and ideas as well as tunes). It's awesome. It's like lots of things in life though...you get back what you put in.

Hey MacMan, this is cool... I might have to break down and get this CD, I am "on the list" at my local library, seems like a long wait.
Man, those are some great "gilmour bends" and perfectly chosen notes, especially that section from about 1:10 to 1:25.. awesome. Good job.

Macman...I'm not familiar with the song,,,but the playing and feel was very Gilmour-esque. Well done!!! Now...I don't want to hijack your thread and turn it into a cyber fight but, please pay attention to what I have to say to floyd rock.
Floyd rock...you come into this guys thread an tell him him that his post is being ignored!!! The guy's post had been up for 20 mins!! Good grief!! Now, as for your post being ignored...There are so many songs posted these days that it is next to impossible to listen to them all!! So, what I do and I'm sure a lot of other members as well, is to listen and comment on people's songs who return the courtesy. How many songs have you commented on Floyd???? I thought so!! It's not a rule that you HAVE to comment...but, please don't whine when noone comments on your songs!!!
Now...I've had my say and as I stated before...I don't want to hijack Macman's thread...so, I will not take this any further.
