Don't Fight It - Kristi and Laurie [Draegon's wife] - Guitars101

Thought I'd post a song featuring our 2 lead singers Kristi Kline and my wife Laurie Lee Wright on the Kenny Loggins/Steve Perry song Don't Fight It. With two gals fronting the band, we had some killer vocals.

Recorded in the mid 80's at a university concert [Michigan State I think] with a couple of other bands. Line out from our sound board to a portable Morantz mono cassette recorder....hardly hi-tech but the sound isn't to bad considering I transferred from cassette to computer using a boom box headphone jack...

Sounds really good considering how it was recorded!! Really nice tone on the vocals. I would love to hear something recorded on the home studio because the vocals sound really good on this they would be killer on a higher quality recording.

Thanks for the nice comments Rain and Belgarion. I posted the song because I'm so proud of my wife and Kristi, and I'm their biggest fan. I sometimes forget how good they were [and still are].

Still trying to get my wife to do some recording....

i agree with rick. this is good quality for live. they both are excellent singers. sounds like a great band too
