Cool

Eleanor Rigby - Beatles cover

Hey guys, this is my first addition.
First post too hah.
It's all done by me, keys + guitar + vocals.
It's a bit rough as it was just a guide for my band to use and go from but I thought I'd show you crazy cats too.

This is cool...sounds very British. Is that where you are Sonic?

I like your vox delivery....you reall hit it in the "Oh look at all the lonely people" chorus. Reminds me of Bowie.

Good production too, strings in the back ground sound like a Bond Film.

Not sure about the the part from 1:44 onwards, keys solo? Seemed to lose pace, like your partner walked in the room or something while you were recording. LOL It happens to all.

Great Post!

Hey thanks for listening!
British is close I guess... Heheh. I'm from New Zealand.
Yeah that interlude thing I should have just left out or at least done properly.
I'm glad you liked the vocals! Cuz thats my main instrument heh.
Cheers for the reply,
-Kane.

Great Job!! Real British Flavor to it. I could almost hear some Bowie in your voice too. I liked the doubling on the vocals. Again great job! loved it!

Wow thanks very much for all your comments!
I'll post up some more shortly.
I've got a couple of covers my band recorded: Black Night and Another Brick In The Wall (Part 2)
Thanks again for the feedback,

Ouch!

damn maaaan..... i loved this song for as long as i have memory. When i read this is a "version" of a song i love so much i tend to be afraid for the results. People screw classics all the time. This is an incredible cover Sr. The production is wonderfull and...and....and... i hate you!!! please do me a favor and record more Beatles tunes. The only thing i miss a little was the violin, not to spoil the whole incredible work, but i think is important on this song. Killer, 5 stars...or balls...or whatever
