This is a Mazzy Star cover...One of my favorite bands...Ks came to me with a fantastic track,and asked if i would add vox..Thanks Ks for this cool collab...I hope you guys enjoy it

Very nice, Rain and ksdb. I am sitting here with my eyes closed picturing one of those movies about the 50's where people are driving in convertables on the strip by the beach. Sun shining, and the warm air flowing like a silk sheet in the breeze... Sorry, it's the Ovaltine talking.

I have never heard this, so it's like you guys 'are the band'. But let me say this...i would be stunned watching you guys thinking the feeling out of the girl singer is awesome!! What a cool groove...and that guitar guy rocks with that slide!! I dig the vibe of the tune. It seemed to hit me in an almost hypnotic way. I feel happy and sad while hearing it. Damn, that's a cool song guys!! Well done!!!

Your description of the song being almost hypnotic really describes how I've always felt about it too. Someone had mentioned Mazzy Star recently and I had noticed how similar Mandy sounds to their lead singer. This seemed like a great opportunity to work with her again and it was made all the more special because she already knew the band and the song. It wasn't a real complicated song to play, but it sure gets stuck in your head. Mandy did an awesome job on the vocals. She really makes it her song. |
