Joe Satriani Ten Words

Covers are not my forte. Originals and jamming to generic bt are more to my speed. Allows me to express my style instead of someone elses. Although everything we play that we might consider original is just the influence of what we've listened to, IMO, and it comes out in the mix. I can tell when listening to others "originals" who they were influenced by. That being said, I am proud to have been influenced from the first time I heard him play, Mr. Joe Satriani. He has been, and continues to be, a huge influence in my quest for the perfect note. This is a song he wrote about 9/11 that he shelved for a few years and then released later on the Super Collossol cd. Obviously an emotional piece. When I play this through the JSX head it sounds much more Joe like in tone than what I'm getting going directly into the pc. I need to get a good mic. I have a huge respect for those of you that tackle the amazingly hard to play covers of our heros.

This is my first post here with some of my playing. Comments welcome and appreciated. Thanks for listening.
