This isn't one KC's biggest "hits," but I always found this to be a compelling piece: very melancholy and haunting. I used a midi file (although it was only the first part of the song
) to build the backing track. There not much
electric guitar on here and I spent more time working on the bass line. Had a cool mellotron soundfont and sax soundfont, and JPF did a stellar job of singing the John Wetton part. This is one of John's (JPF, that is) finer performances IMO, with a very controlled, deliberate style and awesome vibrato. It really shows his versatility. Hope you guys like it.
