King Crimson - Starless with JPF on vocals
This isn't one KC's biggest "hits," but I always found this to be a compelling piece: very melancholy and haunting. I used a midi file (although it was only the first part of the song ) to build the backing track. There not much electric guitar on here and I spent more time working on the bass line. Had a cool mellotron soundfont and sax soundfont, and JPF did a stellar job of singing the John Wetton part. This is one of John's (JPF, that is) finer performances IMO, with a very controlled, deliberate style and awesome vibrato. It really shows his versatility. Hope you guys like it.

I love the guitar tone and style , it sounds like Steve Hackett from early Genesis , a real nice early 70s * colorsound* fuzz tone !!!!!!!!! top marks , and what can i say about JPF, dam his voice is so versatile , it seems to slot into any style , I'm your biggest fan JPF great performance . Could i also say this sort of music is right up my street , i like the way you have sourced a midi file and created this piece of music with that wonderful Mellotron , did you use the M-Tron ? . Anyway top marks guys , any possibility of "in the court of the crimson king " next ,,,,,,,,,,,,,, 5 circles all round !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks BP!!! I think I found the mellotron soundfont at Hammersound.net. There's a lot of good soundfonts there. I have the midi file for ITCOTKC, and maybe I can see about putting that together. It's a really long song, and might have to be downsampled. I have several other KC songs I'd also like to do too. Thanks again. Glad to know someone else likes King Crimson.

Yeah! I love it man, this one reminded me of a song from Selling England by the pound, old Genesis, which I would love to listen again : Whoever sang this did a great job, 5 here man!
EDIT: I read after posting this, ( I usually just listen and donīt read, ) that JPF sang to this one. Um, JPF, are you real? damn, you sure are versatile!!!!!!

Excellent playing ksdb you really captured that classic tone and playing style and JPF in my opinion is one of the top 3 singers on G101, so how can you go wrong on a collab like this.
