Lifes Been Good (Joe Walsh) By Eamon & Avalon
Hi everyone, here is our cover of Joe Walsh's "Lifes Been Good", its a track we both really like and it was great fun to do.
I'd had this track in my sights for awhile now, made the bt abit back ready for when i got round to it, and last week i finally got around to the guitaring.
There was quite abit of it, 3 tracks for alot of the song, made up of my Av-1, Bahamuts brand spanking new Av-2 (starring in the solo spot, and thanks for letting me borrow it  ), and my Marathon for the trem work.
Once all that was done, there was only one man for the job of vocalist,
and Kenny did a superb job, as usual its a pleasure working with you mate, and thanks again 
I hope everyone enjoys it too

My favorite Walsh song! You guys did a great job on this. The guitar tones are really nice Ava. Really captured the feel of the original. And a great vocal performance an well Kenny, loved the "war in Iraq" line. Class post you two and 5 stars from me.

What a great fun tune to do!!!! Brilliant Av!!!! Love all the little soundbites and such in there!!! And your playing and tone are FANTASTIC!!!!! Great bt ya built there too!! Wow this is sounding AWESOME! This is one of my all time favorite tunes - and its refreshing to hear an original take on it. "War in Iraq" LOL!

Ava & Eamon, fantastic cover....those vocals are awesome, really well sung and the guitar work is fantastic, love the tones, very crisp. The whole thing had a pro quality about it....awesome work you guys. |
