"Linda & JPF" collab, Fairport Convention
Hey all!!!! Linda asked me a while back, if I would do this song with her. Well, I instantly said " YES"!!!! This is an older Brit folk pop song ( correct me if i'm wrong Linda!!) by a group called Fairport Convention, called "Meet on the Ledge".....needless to say, I had never heard of them, but with the chance to work with Linda, I would have sung anything!!!!! Anyway.....Art, of course, did a top shelf backer for it...great EVERYTHING!!! I did lead vox and harmony, with Linda on second verse lead, and harmony. Thanks princess, for having me on...enjoy everyone!!!!!

I haven't heard of either this song or the group, but this was beautiful!
There's a nice contrast between your voices, and they work well together.
Brilliant backer too.

My Word. I Knew that John was gonna get asked to Do a Collab and this does not disappoint. I kind of wish the vocal leads would have doubled up because there is a really sweet contrast to JPF's booming voice and Lindas soft intimate vocal - but there is always next time ... and there WILL be a next time ok???!!
Art - Excellent as always. Beautiful playing and production.
JPF - You Rock mate!!
Linda - You are really finding your own voice lately, so you get the most praise! You have to use the quirks because they give your vocals the charm and intimacy. Go girl, you GO girl
Top mark guys

Thank you for your kind replies guys , I was very pleased when John said yes to this collab, His vocals fits it perfectly, I am a great fan of Fairport Convention... ,
Sandy was a fantastic singer (QUOTE)In 1971, Robert Plant invited Sandy to duet with him on Led Zeppelin’s fourth album on the song "The Battle of Evermore", thus earning her the accolade of being the only guest vocalist ever to feature on a Zeppelin album. Sandy was voted twice as Britain's best female singer by ``Melody Maker'', in 1971 and 1972. Sadly at the aged of 31, on 21 April 1978, she died in hospital from a cerebral hemorrhage a great loss.
Thanks John and Art for making this possable
