Marillion - Garden Party

Thank goodness for the people who program midi files. Saves a lot of time in putting together a backing track. I played the bass and the guitars on this and added a scratch vocal. It was late and I couldn't really cut loose when I recorded this besides, Fish is one of the most distinctive vocalists/lyricists out there and I don't do him justice. If someone else would WANT to sing this, I'd gladly strip out my vocal part and send you the backing track. BTW, this is NOT the Rick Nelson song, in case you were wondering.

Warning: There's one explicit lyric in the song.

Thanks for listening and commenting SG and Bulldog. Marillion patterned themselves after early Genesis, and Peter Gabriel was a big influence. This was on their first album, "Script for a Jester's Tear." It's not everyone's cup of tea, but I was hoping a few folks might be into them.
