Move It On Over LIVE
Here's a live track from a long time ago at a gig I played in Luck Wisconsin back in 1993 or so.
"Move It On Over" by Lonesome George Thorogood.
Recorded off of our tape deck that was patched into the live mix. The snare drum is really* annoying, sorry about that.
I'm singing and playing the slide guitar on my old Gibson SG. I must also say that my guitar sound is WAY too processed sounding. Yuck! I must have been out of my mind to set it that way :-) (Or hammered)
The track also cuts out before the very end but %98 percent of the song is on here.
Hope somebody digs it out there g101
FYI - I am NOT from Honolulu Hawaii, and I DID NOT learn this song from George Thorogood. That stuff is intended for any babes in the audience

Paul... I love that POPPING SOUND thing that keeps going... BING... BING... that must of been the NSI power supplies for the lights or something. Yeah... I like this... it shows how wild and crazy we were. This track needs a lot more treble. You can usually push the snare down if you have software that can focus on a narrow band of frequencies... try 168hz or 438hz and around those frequencies. That's usually where I find the snare. MASTER ME!

Yeah that stupid noise at the begining - if I remember correctly it was the lights they had. We couldn't get rid of it no mater what we did.
I just made the track into an MP3 as is, off the tape. No mods at all.
Sounds like there was no reverb on my vocals at all either. Oh well.
Master Me! - what a great song idea!

Sounds like a crazy night eh? It was! They had all these blinking lights on the stage, drunk girls running all over the place, it was great!
We used to goof off like this at a lot of gigs. A couple of times bar owners would get pretty ticked off at us for all the antics.
Put it this way: When my sister got married I had the band here play at her reception. Well I arrived on time, but Jimmy Bob and Drew? They were over an hour late - to my sisters wedding!
The Grooms Dad kept walking up to me saying "When are you guys gonna start?" All I could say to him was "As soon as the guys get here".

You know for a live gig, this recording isn't that bad at all. Your vocals are clear an strong. The guitar can fade low when not doing fills/leads, but that's sort of expected on a live mix tape deck. You do some mean slide man!! Great to have a seat at the bar and hear you guys so to speak..
