Oh Pretty Woman/gary moore
heres one i did for fun. we've been playing this one in my band for a couple years now so a little of my style has entered into the feel. got a little carried away with the guitars but it was just for fun and felt so good to be able to play again. nice to sing without the vicegrips clamped on for high notes lol. i hope you enjoy it like i did

Nice work Ken...lovely stuff. Only thing I didn't like was the chorus on the guitar which deadened the attack...but the playing and singing was awesome!

thanks guys. chris you are right about the chorus. i used a different patch on my v-amp pro trying to get a cleaner less distorted sound and it is a little heavy on the effects. thanks for the advice as i have another moore song in the works and i will definately cut them back. this gary moore stuff is a lot of fun to play but it also is challenging. i think he is an amazing guitarist

gary moore is my fellow countryman and a huge source of inspiration , kenny , the guitar playing is just grrrrrrreat but Id lose the modulation effect , it makes it sound way too processed and very outta character with the song . you did a super version here and i dig it a lot. what gtr did you record it with ?

you are right. albert king's song. i did a version of gary moore's version of a version of albert king.lol. and yes i agree that the chorus on the guitar has to go. at least that is an easy fix. i think i'll roll some highs off on that patch too. trust me if i had a pod i would be begging some moore patches off wah wah. he has that tone nailed

I liked the tone on the lead guitar a lot. It has a lot of character. You have really good control on your blues phrasing. Well done!!

Kenny this was awesome man. You know I respect your vox so I won't say much more than to say great job, but your playing really stood out. Excellent rendition dude.
