Pink Floyd - Sorrow 2nd solo

By no means is this an accurate note for note solo. It's more like little pieces put together from the actual record and live shows with a little me filling some empty spaces.

I really just wanted to have some fun with this one.

Yes, this is great. Gilmour would most definitely approve. You nailed his tone and feel very much on this. One of my all time fave solo's. Beautiful well done mate.

Share the equipment used to do this ...awesome

Thanks macman.. It's one of my favorite solo's too.

As for gear.. I have a 94' strat plus with emg sa's, boss me-10 multi effects board and a big muff pi all running into my garnet session man 2x12 combo. It's a far cry from mr.gilmours rig but it seems to get the job done.

Always gotta check out the floyd covers
Even tho the post waters era isnt my favourite, this album still is pretty decent, and Gilmour is undeniably a guitar genious.
Great playing here, did sound very much like the real thing.
This is the kinda stuff that really makes me wanna get a strat, being a les paul player myself.

This is a great homage to DG. At a casual listen this would probably fool a lot of people. Your phrasing is very fluid and the tone is right on.
