***New Toy Alert!!!***
I posted a little while ago that I bought a
Zoom MRS-8 for portability/flexibility. I love this thing to bits! Anyway, this is the very first tune I decided to record with it the evening I got it home.
Info:
- The drum/bass rhythm track was graciously donated to me a ways back by Rythameen. This is by far THE BEST backing for this song I have ever heard and completely blows away the sh|t backing I used in my original post.
- Used my Fender Jimmie Vaughan on both lead and rhythm guitar tracks
- Used my Marshall V57M condenser mic for the vocals.
- Used NOTHING but the internal guitar/vocal/mastering effects of the Zoom MRS-8. No Ozone, no anything added.
- For ease of editing, the count-in was removed and fade-out added in via Cubase.
Hopefully you all think this sounds as good as what I crank out from my Cubase PC DAW...or at least somewhat on par.
