Wahwah and Stingx cover Burn Down the Mission
Here you have it, a cover of Elton John's Burn Down the Mission. Same MO...FL Studio + Reason then mixed and mastered in Cubase (added Ozone and T-Racks). Chris was hesitant to do this but I am so glad he stuck to it. I enjoyed putting this together and I really like Chris' phrasing of this tune. Thanks for working with me on this track. I haven't had much time lately to really do what I enjoy so it really makes me happy when I can get the music moving
Oh, see I told you I'd deliver on the drums!!! hahahahahaahahahaha

I've been waiting for this one!!! Listening now........Really sounds GREAT Pete!!!! Do you build the keys yourself??? i've noticed you are a real keyboard lover!! The track sounds fantastic. And how did you get Greg Lake to sing for ya!!!! I'm telling ya Chris...you have an INCREDIBLE tone to your voice...really pleasing, fits 70's era rock incredibly well!!!! I think this a Top Shelf outing here!!! I need Levon NOW!!! LOL!!! excellent work fella's!!!! This is a 5'er for sure!!!

Thanks guys...sting is maybe UNDER-emphasising HOW much I was hesitant about this going up! I can just about control a guitar and getting there with a bass...but my voice fecks me off as I DON'T feel at all that I can call myself a singer. I TRY hard but my range is low and I ain't good at recording them either. Sting did such a good job on the backer I felt it was gonna let it down but then not many were gonna sing Elton for him so I tried me best. Believe me when I say, I'm gonna try harder and harder to sing better because I really enjoy it.
Thanks for the encouragement and also sting for putting up with my Elton size flounces!!!!
