Yardbirds´Stroll on

I tryed to make a some what cover of this
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XlEFBBWmNy4
there´s only rhythem guitars on it, as I didn´t know what to do with Beck´s part, . I watched the movie a few years ago, and recently found this portion on the net,I always have loved the riffs, sort of proto-punk stuff (man these guys were great, ), and decided to give it a try,(no singing as well, ) . I made a backing track out of a Guitar pro file, one helluva task on the drums, I ended up mixing two different soundfonts and fixing two guitar tracks for them, but still don´t sound as I would like, but oh well, neither does my guitar playing, . Thanks for listening,

Great version man...just need a little Page solo in there and its good to go. I have always LOVED this song and have been meaning to find a backing track to this so that I could cover it. Wanna share?

By the way, that video always cracks me up...whats funny is that they pick up the song again while Beck is smashing his guitar and yet his lead parts are still being played...haha! I guess they didn't think the general public was smart enough to figure that one out. What do you think that smashed Beck guitar would be worth today? Haha! Anyway, its classic to see them all together on stage like that...beautiful piece of rock history there.

Here ya go, thanks for your feedback, but it would be fun if you added some stuff to this one, , Beck´s that is, as Page didn´t solo on the original, , even if it does´t get posted here, I´d love to here it Oh yeah, surreal yet purposely naif picture, I love how the last guy on the street picks up the neck of the guitar and simply throws it down again, lol

Hey man, Thanks for getting back to me so quick! Wow, its a great backing track. Is that really Beck doing the solo on the album? I know on the video, Beck did one and then Page follows him up. Pretty amazing pairing that was Oh yeah, the guitar neck would be worth a pretty penny by now..haha...

Yeah, maybe I could just try to add a solo to your playing. I doubt that my guitar work will ever do it justice, but if I give it go, I'll let you know What did you use to record your parts? They come in very crisp and clear...

Thanks again man!

Your recording had a lot of energy. Sounded real accurate and it was kick to watch the video of the Yardbirds. Too cool!!

i didn't know who wrote that song. you played it true to the origional. i used to play the aerosmith version of train kept a rollin years ago. that is a cool version too. i agree that you should get jpf to sing it.
