Need book on daily pracitcing

Can some of you recommend good book on "how" to practice guitar. I have been playing for a while now, but I seem to lack structure when I am practicing.

I would like to know most efficient method of daily practicing. Something like Steve Vai's 10 hour a day workout.

For example:
Day 1 - scales? and which scales for how long.
Day2 - Rhythm - which rhythms for how long
Day3 - Learn song etc..

Are there books like that on the market? I've tried to find it, but there's so much generic junk and boring clutter that is really hard to decide and know what books to pick up, so I thought I'd ask some of the experts here if they have their fav book/'s on daily practicing or something like that.

Thanks in advance

Here is one idea

4 Hrs. per day

Hour 1: Musical Devices-Scales,Arpeggios,Chords,Chromatic Approaches, Intervals, etc.

Hour 2: Tunes-Learning new tunes and arranging chord melodies to tunes. Playing over changes.

Hour 3: Transcription- Transcribing other guitarists work.

Hour 4: Classical Literature or if you don't play classical, do fingerstyle arrangements for an hour.

I don't know how much time you have in a day but 10 hours is definitely alot. I'd say pick one technique, riff or song and practice that each day until you absolutely master it and then, move on
