A link to this post came to me via a Google Web alert that I have set up for "Avenged Sevenfold." So I downloaded the 2 .rar files but when I opened them, couldn't play the .flac files and can't figure out how to.

Is there some special player or program I need to be able to hear the files?

Sorry for my ignorance, but any help would be appreciated, thanks.

no problem when you use windows media player you can search for a plug-in ! but when you download the VLC media player you can play it better and you can all files play with it !!! google for it and you will find a lot of sites where you can download it for free ! i hope this helps and when not write me back again and i try to help you out !!!
