Jimi Hendrix (November 27, 1942 – September 18, 1970) is considered one of the greatest and most influential guitarists in rock music history.
After initial success in Europe, he achieved fame in the USA following his 1967 performance at the Monterey Pop Festival.
Later, Hendrix headlined the iconic 1969 Woodstock Festival.
The Jimi Hendrix In The Studio series allows us to listen to how some of the most celebrated rock music of the twentieth century
to come a single artist was created. The series will be to Jimi Hendrix fans what the Beatles Anthology series was to Beatles fans;
a peek beyond the veil as it were, into the work of a genius.
