Audience recording - from the mini-disc master.
The vocals are low in the mix, especially on the first three tracks but the audience make up for it!! I was expecting the show to be ‘relaxed’ because most of the fans would be in their 30s and 40s, so I headed down the front to get a close-up view. However, I soon found that the audience were not ‘relaxed’, they were Tesla-starved and there was lots of pushing, moshing and crowd surfing. Considering how uncomfortable it was, I am very pleased with this recording. Surprisingly, I think it is difficult to detect that I was being squashed against a barrier or supporting crowd surfers with my head!!
