NOTE: If anyone else who downloads this (or has it) can help me confirm something I'd appreciate it. "Stairway to Heaven" and parts of songs after it have cuts in my copy. I don't know if I encountered an error while burning/downloading or if it's on the original. No other copy of this show I have has this (different versions of same show). I know there are some Zep heads out there who can help with this question. I sure don't want to have to download the whole thing again to figure out if the problem is on my end or the actual video/DVD creation. Thanks!

I've got an EVSD Blu_Ray (BD-R in a trade) of this show and it looks great. However, this copy here (the post I'm replying too) looks as if it came from a Blu-Ray copy too. And I have to admit, the video in this 2 DVD latest set is incredible. It may be better than my EVSD Blu-Ray copy (which is 19.8 GB).

I'd burn the Blu_Ray copy I have and upload it here if I had a Blu-Ray burner (still way too expensive). I've been able to copy the BD-R to my hard drive as a backup, but I cannot (without doing what this current post's original DVD author did) do anything other than put it to a few DVD-/+R's or DL DVD-/+Rs.

The one thing I'm curious about and not sure of yet is the audio from this new upload. It does sound great, but it's just PCM audio and it doesn't have the bass that other EVSD copies of the same show have. I think the audio is better on EVSD's "Heavy Metal Kids" (2 DVDs). And "HMK" has great picture quality too. But overall, I think this latest "In The Court Of King James" version has the best video and the audio you can definitely live with and jam too.

Now, we just need a DL DVD of this show with Dolby 5.1, DTS, etc :-) I'm sure it's probably (and hopefully) in the making.

Thank you for another great upload EDGE. And people, do not be fooled by seeing this post and say "awww, just another copy" (there seem to be so many of the 5/24 and 5/25/75 shows). This one, if for nothing other than the video quality, is great and I think the best DVD source copy.

BTW, and I'm not complaining, the screenshot used for this post is far from being "the best" like I've been talking about. This show has always had excellent, good, and then better again parts throughout the show's video. Every last version of this show I've gotten starting with VHS tapes back in the old days have these same video quality changes in the show. This upload is even improved on the lesser video quality parts of the show.

I'd definitely give this one a look. And I'd really appreciate a reply from others who'd downloaded it as to whether or not they experience the cuts and issues during "Stairway to Heaven" (and parts thereafter)...

Why are all the part different sizes?

Is this a bad upload? I checked both UL.to and DF.

all parts are different because was zipped every single vob file

Just checked my DVD copy, no cuts in mine. Maybe bad burn! I remember there were some problems when it first came out, can't remember what they were though?

How do we know which parts are for Disc 01 and which are for Disc 02?

This is a very inefficient and confusing way to zip the files up

There are no sub-folders within the ZIPs, so all the files would unzip to the same folder and the files for disc 02 would overwrite disc 01

EV’s In the Court of King James has some problems. The 2-3 minute segment during Stairway is absent on this release. Stairway, Whole Lotta Love, and Black Dog all contain dropouts in the audio. Those issues aside, it has better video quality than all prior releases.
