Cheech & Chong Live in 1978 (RARE VIDEO) - Guitars101

Hello, well I finally have the video of the classic Cheech & Chong show from Spanky's in San Diego CA on 5/3/1978. Yes I was finally able to extract the video and get it up on megaupload in AVI format. This is the only video I have evern been able to find of the classic comedy duo in the 20+ years I have been collecting bootlegs. It is a complete show and the quality is not that bad for its age. Definately a high generation video transfer but still VERY watchable.
Sorry for the lack of posts recently but had a nasty worm that was being a real pain and not letting me upload until now.

Hope everyone who has been looking for a video from the classic years of Cheech and Chong enjoy this.

Maybe I could remove the links even though it's out of print, but it's official!!!

If it's official, then yes, remove the link. But don't ban him- especially if he didn't know it was official. Since it's a high gen copy, maybe he received a pirated copy. If that's the case, then who's to know if it's official or not? Is there a site that shows all the officially released material by every and all artists, video and audio? It would come in handy. Regardless, thanks for the show. you ROCK!!!

I had no clue it was an "official" release since I have never even come across a copy, not even on ebay. But I was told awhile back that "official" stuff coule be posted as long as it was out of print and not readily available anywhere. Plus this is not even listed in their "official" releases (that I could find) and is next to impossible to find. But do what you must but I know tons of people have been looking for a classic show from these guys and they are just not out there! Also why didn't this come up when I posted the audio from the same show????

Thank you for providing some info about this Flachead. Never showed up with all the searches I have done. One thing though, on the official version it says the running time is 50 min. but the version I uploaded is over 80 min. I am sure this is the same thing but any reason mine is 30 min longer than what is on C & C website??

Just to throw in my two cents worth into this, this does look like a pro-shot show (just watch the camera work). Could be an un-cut version of the legit show; who knows. Nice post, though!
